The O.D. Butler Scholarship has been established to
honor the memory of Dr. O.D. Butler and his contributions
to the Charolais breed and more specifically his concern
and care for the young people involved in the breed.
The Criteria required to apply for an O.D. Butler
Scholarship are as follows:
- Has been a member of the TJCA for at least 2 years
- Has shown cattle at the TJCA State Show at
least one year
- Must be a graduating high school senior who will enroll
as a full time student at an accredited college or university
Applications may be obtained from the current Junior Advisor, the Charolais
Association of Texas office, or the link below.

Completed application must be returned to the CAT office by April 30th.
